Visitor Procedures

In efforts to keep children safe and secure in the school environment it is important that Western Hills Observe some safety rules when entering our building.  All entrances are locked and entry is by button releason only between the hours of 8:00am - 2:30pm.

• Photo ideas required prior to picking up child druing the school day.
• All visitors must enter through the main doors, sign-in with the receptionist and wear a visitor's pass with their name on it.
• Parents please schedule your visits with teachers during their conference period, and before or after school. 
• If you would like to visit in the classroom for an activity, please make prior arrangements.
• Student belongings, lunches or items dropped off for students can be left with the receptionist at the front door.
• All volunteers in the building or sponsors on field trips must pass a criminal background check prior to any interaction with children.  Forms are available in front office.
• Parents when picking up children after school, please remain outside the entrances.
• Older siblings can pickup their younger siblings outside in the teacher's designated areas.  A map will be provided in the packet being sent home to you at the beginning of the school year.
• The BUS LANE must stay cleared at all times.  Remember that your child's safety is paramount so working together as a team will create the safest environment for our students.
